Ethan was paying attention to his teacher during class on Sunday! I overheard him talking to his brother in the hall after church. The conversation went something like this:
E: "You have to be a peacemaker"
L: "Yeah? What's that?"
E: "It's where you have to do nice things for people"
L: "Who said?"
E: "Brother Oreo" (his primary teacher's name is Brother Orr)
And then after we got home he told his sister that he didn't want Ramen noodles for lunch because he knew she wouldn't make them for her, but if she wanted to be a peacemaker then she had to. And she did!
Ethan really loves his primary teacher. Sadly, he is moving out of our ward this weekend. I think we need to buy him a package of Oreos and make him a thank you card and drop it off at his new house, which is surprisingly only a couple blocks out of our ward boundaries. Sure is different than back in MI! We could move almost an hour away back there and still be in the same ward. Here you move a few blocks in the wrong direction and you can end up in a different stake!
