Build a bear workshop!

Well, the day finally arrived. I promised Jacob 3 weeks ago that if he was good at school every day for the rest of the school year I would take them to build a bear. He went from getting in trouble every day at school to only getting in trouble twice in 3 weeks.

It was fun to see their personalities come out when they were picking their animals and clothes. They did really well with staying below their price limit and didn't nag or complain about not being able to get everything they saw! I'm really proud of them :)

Here is Luke with his monkey that he named after his best friend. His friend left Sunday and won't be back until almost the end of their summer vacation. I think he is missing him greatly already :( These two boys were inseperable all year. It's going to be a long summer for Luke!


Here's Jacob with his bear. He named him Ryan after Ryan Raburn from the Detroit Tigers. He really wanted a Tigers uniform for his bear but they only sold the AZ Diamondbacks uniforms. Go figure :D He has requested the Tigers uniform for his birthday! And hey, a police bear is the next best thing!

Ethan named his puppy Obleo after our friend's boxer. And of course, what puppy isn't complete without spiderman pj's and slippers!?!

Nicole got the cheapest bear they had and is waiting for her own Tigers uniform. She named her bear after Placido Polanco (the Tigers 2nd baseman). Can you tell we're fans or what!?! And she's not home so we didn't get a picture of her. I'll post one whenever she gets the uniform :)
