We went over to the San Tan Mountains today (we can see them from our house) and went on a hike. Of course we couldn't do things the easy way. We had to continue past the caution signs and take the trail all the way to the top. Well, Kevin made it all the way to the top. I stayed behind a little ways with the kids. The rock was pretty loose the further up you got. On the way down Nicole lost control and started running. Thankfully for her I was standing in her path and blocked her like a football player. I wish I had gotten a picture of the sheer terror she had on her face. I'm sure this will be a trip she will never forget. She managed to step on a cactus too! Lucky for her, she had boots on. Kevin got them stuck in his hand when he tried to pull them off though.
