Well, I guess it's official. Kevin has a new job. He flies out tomorrow to New York. He'll be gone for 6 weeks at a time with a week off in between. That should be interesting. I am now grateful for the few times experience of having him gone for a while. While I don't enjoy it much, being a single mom, we will survive. And maybe we'll be lucky enough to go visit him wherever he is at once in a while. I guess this company moves around the country working on the pipelines. He should get to see a lot of neat places. Maybe it's time to buy a US map and put a pin on every place he goes. That should be something fun for the kids to do!

Yes, 6 weeks at a time and then one week home. New company too. And it all happened so fast! Last week it was maybe a possibility and yesterday it was "hey, I'm leaving in the morning for 6 weeks"! Ugh! But I guess the sacrafice for a little while will be worth it in the future. It's a good thing we have already been through this huh? ;)
WOW....you will have to be a stowaway with him one of these times. I haven't talked to you in a while...since baseball ended. My friend's husband travels for 6 weeks...sometimes longer...it's rough, but absence makes the heart grow fonder right?
